ForceLink: Smart Links That Open in the Right App

Privacy policy

ForceLink privacy policy

This policy explains, in plain English, what information ForceLink uses to provide smart links, QR codes, link-in-bio pages, analytics, billing, and support. It is written for customers, creators, teams, and Australian businesses evaluating ForceLink.

Information we collect

ForceLink may collect account details, email addresses, billing status, smart-link settings, destination URLs, QR code settings, link-in-bio content, custom-domain settings, and support messages you send us. We also collect technical information needed to route links and show analytics.

  • Account data: email, login identity, plan, and subscription status.
  • Link data: short codes, destination URLs, aliases, UTM settings, and page content you create.
  • Technical data: device, browser, referrer, approximate location, timestamp, and click event information.

How analytics data works

When someone clicks a ForceLink URL or scans a QR code, ForceLink records event data so you can understand whether links are working. This helps show traffic sources, devices, countries or regions, and campaign performance without needing to identify every visitor by name.

  • Analytics are used to report link performance to the account owner.
  • Approximate location may be inferred from IP information for reporting and abuse prevention.
  • We use click data to improve reliability, routing quality, and product decisions.

Why we use information

We use information to provide the ForceLink service, authenticate users, route visitors to the correct destination, generate QR codes, display analytics, maintain security, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and improve the product.

  • Service delivery: create and resolve smart links correctly.
  • Customer support: investigate issues with accounts, links, billing, or analytics.
  • Trust and safety: detect spam, phishing, misuse, or suspicious traffic patterns.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plan checkout is handled through Stripe. ForceLink does not need to store full card numbers. Stripe may process payment details, billing information, invoices, taxes, and fraud-prevention checks according to Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.

  • ForceLink stores subscription status and Stripe customer/session identifiers needed to manage billing.
  • Full card details are handled by Stripe, not manually stored by ForceLink.
  • Billing support may require the account email and subscription reference.

Cookies and similar technology

ForceLink may use cookies or similar browser storage for login sessions, security, preferences, analytics, and checkout flow continuity. These help keep accounts signed in, remember settings, and understand whether the product is working reliably.

  • Essential cookies support login, security, and checkout.
  • Analytics signals help improve product performance and reliability.
  • Browser settings may let you block some storage, but core account features may not work correctly without it.

Sharing and service providers

ForceLink uses trusted service providers to host the app, store data, process payments, send emails, and monitor reliability. We only share information needed for those services to operate. We do not sell personal data as a standalone product.

  • Hosting and database providers help run the app.
  • Stripe processes subscription payments.
  • Email and support tools may process messages you send to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account, link, and analytics data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or billing obligations, prevent abuse, and maintain product records. You can ask about deleting account data or removing specific links by contacting support.

  • Deleting a link may stop future redirects and remove it from your active dashboard.
  • Some billing, audit, or abuse-prevention records may need to be retained for a period of time.
  • We can help identify what can be removed if you contact support with your account email.

Your choices and contact

You can contact support@forcelink.com.au to ask privacy questions, request help with account data, report misuse, or ask how a specific link or analytics feature works. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, API keys, or other secrets by email.

  • Ask what data is linked to your account.
  • Request help deleting links or account information where possible.
  • Report spam, phishing, impersonation, or unsafe destinations.
